Workshop on the 4th industrial revolution and the press - opportunities and challenges

The workshop was held by Tay Ninh Newspaper with participation of local press of provinces and cities in Southeastern region last June 30. Attending the workshop was Nguyen Be, the Deputy President of Vietnamese Journalist Association, Nguyen Thanh Tam, the Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of Provincial People’s Council of Tay Ninh Province, and representatives of local press in the region.

At the workshop, the delegates listened to speeches of representatives focusing on matters of the press under effect of the 4th industrial revolution including challenges and application of information technology in managing, editing and producing press products.

The speeches affirmed that the 4th industrial revolution has influenced the survival of the press and mass media including professional skills of journalists, prompting them to choose suitable approaches to improve their skills and their production.
