Workshop raises effectiveness of the regional linkage

Early Feb.24, provincial People’s Committee, the Area II Institute of Politics and Administration and the HCM city University of Economics co-held a workshop on “Promoting the Southeastern region’s sustainable development in the international integration context”. Attending the workshop were representatives of the central agencies and localities, including HCM city, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh and universities nationwide.

At the workshop, participants mainly discussed focuses on the important issues of promoting the Southeastern region’s sustainable development; making development orientations for the Southeastern region and the Southern key economic zone in the international integration process; creating the regional linkage; developing hi-tech laborers in the region; promoting FDI attraction in the Southeastern region…

The workshop aimed to help localities know about the importance of the regional linkage and take measures to promote its development towards a more sustainable development in the international integration process.
