Provincial Police Agency’s Traffic Police Division said that after one month of implementing a plan for general control of passenger cars and container trucks, from August 15 to September 15, specialized forces detected and handled many cases of violations on key routes of the province.
Particularly, the traffic police forces across the province stopped and inspected 4,635 vehicles, including 2,347 passenger cars and 2,288 container trucks. As a result, 398 wrong vehicles were detected and handled, with violations pertaining to stopping and parking (101 cases); speeding violations (60 cases); carrying cargo in the passenger compartment (23 cases); entering prohibited areas or roads with prohibited signs (19 cases)...
Also during this period, there were 10 traffic accidents involving passenger cars and container trucks, killing 7 people and injuring 6 others.
The province’s functional sector said that after one month of drastically implementing the plan to control passenger cars and container trucks, the number of traffic accidents and violations on traffic order and safety related to these types of vehicles significantly reduced compared to the previous period. This plan continues be implemented until October 15, 2023.
