Year-end review of Culture, Sports and Tourism emulation cluster in the Southeast provinces in 2022

On November 17, in Binh Duong province, Culture, Sports and Tourism emulation cluster of Southeast provinces held a conference to evaluate performance in 2022, announced the direction and tasks in 2023. The conference had the participation of Nguyen Huu Dat, Head of the Representative Office of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Office in Ho Chi Minh City; Nguyen Van Danh, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the cluster.

In the year 2022, Culture, Sports and Tourism branch has performed well in cultural, artistic, sports and tourism tasks. Particularly in the field of physical training and sports, units in the cluster attained many outstanding results, contributed 51 medals of all kinds to the Vietnamese sports delegation at Sea Games 31. Inbound and outbound tourism activities showed optimistic signs... At the conference, the units discussed some issues to make the cluster's activities in the coming time more developed.

Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Van Danh informed some good results achieved by Binh Duong province in recent years. He hoped that the conference would be an opportunity for the provinces to learn more about the land, culture and people of Binh Duong; thereby introducing and promoting the image of Binh Duong Smart City, Innovation Region with outstanding achievements in socio-economic construction and development.

On this occasion, head and deputy heads of the cluster awarded the flag to the cluster head in 2023, which is Department of Culture, Sports & Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province; and deputy head in 2023 is Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Phuoc province.
