Learn Uncle Ho's the simplest of things

The initiative to study and emulate Uncle Ho has been actualized by the Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union through a variety of dynamic, practical, and innovative activities. The campaigns of "Creative Youth," "Volunteer Youth," "Drinking Water, Remembering Its Source," and "Repaying Gratitude" have fostered a sense of responsibility and affection among the youth throughout the province. The sight of green volunteer shirts is a familiar presence on every road, from remote areas to bustling cities, and from the "Green Summer" Campaign to initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of workers, becoming a cherished symbol in the hearts of the community.

Not only does Binh Duong's youth embody the spirit of innovation, but they also lead in digital transformation and the development of smart cities. The integration of technology within the Youth Union's initiatives is emphasized, particularly through the successful operation of the Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union's General Information Website (tuoitrebinhduong.vn). Since its inception in 2009, the website has served as a vital link between the Youth Union and its members, efficiently delivering information, shaping ideological perspectives, and disseminating exemplary models and best practices among Youth Union members and the broader youth community.

Linking education and the principles of Uncle Ho to real-life applications, the Youth Union at all levels has implemented numerous models tailored to various target groups. Thematic activities, forums, competitions, seminars, and journeys to significant historical sites facilitate a deeper understanding among the younger generation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style, gradually translating these insights into tangible actions. Notable initiatives such as the "Forum on Building Model Values of Binh Duong Youth in the New Era," the online contest "Sun of Truth," and the journey to "Red Addresses" associated with Uncle Ho's revolutionary life have garnered enthusiastic participation from union members and youth. Furthermore, cultural, sports, and artistic activities are consistently maintained, contributing to physical development and the cultivation of ideals and morals in young people inspired by Uncle Ho's example.

The provincial youth initiative “Remembering Uncle Ho Makes Our Hearts Brighter” stands out as a significant highlight, reflecting the profound education and gratitude of the youth towards Uncle Ho. Featuring 652 Will boards, nearly 1,200 photographs of Uncle Ho displayed in the homes of union members, 1,500 Wills, and 1,000 magazines showcasing exemplary models and awarded works, the project has exerted a substantial influence on the youth across the province. It fosters noble ideals and enhances awareness, morality, and a spirit of dedication among each union member.

Numerous innovative and disseminating models

In Binh Duong, the initiative of "following Uncle Ho's words" has been extensively implemented, tailored to the unique characteristics of each demographic group. Within the armed forces, initiatives such as "Young People of the Provincial Police Living, Eating, and Working with the Community for 5 Days," "Continuing the Diary of the Ho Chi Minh Generation," and "Learning One of Uncle Ho's Teachings Every Day" have significantly contributed to cultivating the political resilience and virtues of a People's Police soldier among the youth. For young workers, numerous humanistic models, including "Green - Clean - Beautiful Boarding House," "Journey of Connecting Love," and "Young Workers' Festival in Remembrance of Uncle Ho's Testament and Following in His Footsteps," have fostered a positive living environment, created valuable recreational opportunities, and strengthened the bonds within the young workers' community.

Among students, initiatives aimed at preventing social evils, fostering creative startups, and promoting scientific research have been vigorously implemented. Notable examples include the "VGU Robocon Battle Mining - 2019" competition and the model "Cultivating 5 Good Students in Connection with Smart Cities." For children, activities such as "Proud of Tradition - Towards the Future" and "Traditional Education through Chibi Illustrations of Young Heroes" have sparked patriotism and national pride through familiar and engaging themes.

Affirming the pioneering role

The youth of Binh Duong today, driven by their fervent hearts and aspirations for advancement, recognize that studying and adhering to Uncle Ho's principles is not merely a political obligation but also a noble life ideal. Uncle Ho's teachings serve as an enduring compass and source of inspiration for the younger generation, encouraging them to pursue education, engage in self-improvement, and contribute to the sustainable development of both the province and the nation.

In the age of digital transformation and profound integration, union members and young individuals must take the initiative to acquire knowledge, foster creativity, and embrace civic responsibility through tangible actions in their daily lives. Learning from and emulating Uncle Ho transcends mere rhetoric; it has deeply influenced thoughts and actions, evolving into a lifestyle, an ideal, and a goal for the youth of today and tomorrow.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, to further disseminate the study and emulation of Uncle Ho among the youth, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has proposed five key solution areas: innovating educational methodologies, promoting Directive 05-CT/TW through engaging and accessible formats such as short films, dramatizations, storytelling about Uncle Ho, speaking contests, seminars, and online competitions focused on Uncle Ho. Additionally, there is a focus on enhancing the application of technology and digital transformation by developing online learning platforms, forums, and gamifying educational content to improve interaction and accessibility. The initiative also aims to disseminate exemplary cases and innovative models via social networks, newspapers, and mainstream media to create a ripple effect within the youth community. Furthermore, it seeks to connect education on life ideals with action-oriented movements, enabling young individuals to "learn from Uncle Ho" through tangible and practical actions in their lives. Lastly, the initiative emphasizes the exemplary roles of Youth Union officials, educators, parents, and influential figures as sources of inspiration for youth during their developmental journey.

The positive outcomes resulting from the movement to learn from and emulate Uncle Ho are clearly evidenced by impressive statistics: the entire province has implemented over 3,695 youth projects based on Uncle Ho's teachings, alongside numerous meaningful initiatives from grassroots to provincial levels. The Youth Union chapters at all tiers have recognized 765 collectives and 2,879 outstanding individuals, including 23 individuals honored by the Central Youth Union, 50 individuals at the Southeast Cluster level, and 74 collectives and 529 individuals at the provincial level. These exemplary figures have become a source of inspiration for the younger generation, fostering a constructive training environment and enhancing the sense of responsibility and self-improvement among each union member and youth.
