Young people confidently enter the new era

The success of the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation for the 2024-2029 term has inspired all levels of the Youth Federation in the province to enhance the spirit of volunteerism among its members and youth, as they confidently embrace a new era.

 Exciting volunteer activities

The emulation movement to welcome the success of the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation for the 2024-2029 term has been carried out by all levels of the Youth Union - Federation in the province with many youth projects and organizing volunteer campaigns at border posts, border areas, islands, etc.

For example, the Youth Union and the Youth Federation of Di An City organized the "Winter Volunteer" and "Spring Volunteer" programs in Bu Gia Map commune, Bu Gia Map district, Binh Phuoc province. These programs featured practical and meaningful projects with a total value of nearly 50 million VND. Specifically, the activities included the "Lighting up the Countryside" project, the distribution of 2,000 white notebooks, the presentation of 20 “dream bags,” and 20 scholarships for students facing difficult circumstances at Dak A Primary School in Dak A village.

Furthermore, the Youth Union and the Youth Federation of the city collaborated with the officers and soldiers of the Dak Ka Border Guard Station to implement the “Commemorative Tree Row” project. They also organized activities at the border marker between Vietnam and Cambodia, promoting the “I Love My Fatherland” movement. This initiative has not only strengthened the solidarity between the two units but also fostered a sense of patriotism among the youth..

The Youth Union and Federation at all levels have launched the "Winter Volunteer" and "Spring Volunteer" programs, which are linked to local initiatives such as "Volunteer Saturday" and "Green Sunday." These programs consistently attract many young volunteers who engage in community service activities. These activities include building new rural areas and developing civilized urban spaces, as well as promoting environmental cleanliness. Volunteers participate in planting flowers along youth-managed roads, caring for trees, removing illegal advertisements and notices, and preserving the beauty of urban areas.

Additionally, the Youth Union and Federation have organized the distribution of leaflets to promote urban civilization, waste classification, and fire and explosion prevention in anticipation of the Lunar New Year 2025. These efforts aim to raise awareness among the public about the importance of protecting a green, clean, and beautiful environment.

The emulation movement aims to celebrate the success of the congress of the Youth Union and Youth Federation by inspiring young people to develop a strong awareness, spirit, will, and aspiration to rise up in the context of integration and progress as the country enters a new era. In Bau Bang District, the District Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation organized a forum titled "Youth Volunteers: Proactively Integrating Internationally in the Era of National Development." During the forum, the District Youth Union and the Youth Federation provided guidance to union members and young participants on the principles of the National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation for the 2024-2029 term; at the same time, promoted the role and responsibility of young people in participating in building and developing the country in the period of deep international integration. The District Youth Union and the Youth Federation have also identified youth as the pioneering force in digital transformation, modernization and promoting a sense of responsibility through social activities.

In response to this activity, the Youth Union-Federation at all levels organized events for union members and young people to explore and discuss both opportunities and challenges. These discussions aimed to affirm the role of youth in the integration process and propose solutions to enhance the quality of the youth movement. Key topics included encouraging young people to take the lead in learning and applying science and technology, as well as strengthening their capacity for international integration. This approach helps young individuals better understand their mission and encourages them to contribute their intelligence, pioneering spirit, and volunteer efforts for the common development of the province.
