Young people desire to work and be creative

The matter of creating conditions for capacity development suitable for the new era is of great concern to the youth union members in the province. This will help youth members have an orientation to establish themselves, start a career, work, and be creative.

The People's Committee of Bac Tan Uyen district organized a dialogue meeting between the Chairman of the District People's Committee and young people. The meeting focused on capturing the thoughts and desires of young people regarding supporting development under the theme "Youth of Bac Tan Uyen - Aspiration, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Creativity". At the program, Youth Union officials, members, and young workers in the district voiced their opinions related to entrepreneurship, creativity, and solutions to support and promote the role of Youth Union members in socio-economic building and development... After the questions and recommendations of the Youth Union members, the district's specialized departments and committees directly responded to each issue.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Tan Uyen district, acknowledged and valued the valid opinions. He also emphasized the importance of the youth in driving digital transformation. The district's party committees, authorities, branches, and organizations are urged to earnestly consider the opinions and suggestions put forward by the youth to explore and present solutions for youth development and also nurture and encourage youth creativity and innovation. The Chairman of the District People's Committee also recommended young people improve their awareness, responsibility, and qualifications, grasp modern trends, and proactively research to diversify sales channels on new technology platforms and diversify products by applying high technology and techniques in production and socio-economic development...

To meet the aspirations of young people, dialogue activities are maintained and carried out by the Youth Union in coordination with People's Committees at all levels. During the meeting, the People's Committee, sectors, and unions promptly listened to opinions, recommendations, and proposals related to the implementation of guidelines and policies to support young people in labor, employment, and entrepreneurship. In addition, local leaders also direct the resolution and removal of difficulties and obstacles and create conditions and motivation for youth members to develop and enrich themselves, their families, and society.

To create motivation for development

The Provincial People's Committee plans to support youth startups from 2022 to 2030, with the goal of raising awareness, fostering entrepreneurial aspirations, and developing the entrepreneurial capacity of Binh Duong youth. This plan aims to create an environment to support young people starting businesses and to develop the country on the basis of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. It will contribute to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development goals for the period 2020-2025 and the vision for 2030 proposed by the Resolution of the 11th Binh Duong Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025.

The phase 1 plan (2022-2025) sets the goal of 100% of provincial Youth Union officials coming to the grassroots level to be trained in basic knowledge about entrepreneurship, supporting youth startups, and helping at least 150 young people start a business. Every year, 1,000 young people receive training in entrepreneurship and business management, and the contest "Startup Ideas and Projects in Binh Duong Province" is organized to foster innovation. According to the plan, young people will be supported to improve business and start-up capabilities; access capital sources and investors; basic digital skills training; At the same time, the province builds and develops channels to support the distribution and consumption of startup products and support links and develop startup networks...

In addition, the Provincial People's Committee implemented the Project "Discovering, Fostering, and Promoting Young Vietnamese Talents in the period 2022-2030." While implementing the project, the Provincial People's Committee directed units to organize activities to honor young talents, aiming to discover and introduce children with outstanding achievements to participate in central-level awards and titles; and to organize forums on science, technology, and innovation policies. Besides, youth receive chances to participate in training and fostering sessions on entrepreneurship and innovation, on scientific research skills, cultivating experience in transferring and applying new technology, and creating a playground for experience learning in programming, science, and technology.
