Young people follow Uncle Ho’s teachings

To realize the teachings of Uncle Ho, Binh Duong's youth with voluntary and creative spirit was active and pioneered in all fields and works. Young people were well aware of their own responsibilities, tried to fulfill their role to contribute to the province's socio-economic development.

To learn and follow ideology, morality, and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh City, many individuals and collectives of Youth Union are commended and rewarded by Provincial Youth Union.

Responsibility, creativity

Nguyen Quoc Thang, Youth Union Secretary of Binh Hoa Ward (Thuan An Town), pioneered in all youth activities. Mr. Thang constantly tried to implement well youth movements and actively created many useful new models for youth union members. In order for union members to raise their political awareness, Mr. Thang carried out various forms of propagation through asking and answering integrated in activities of Youth Union and branches. He also cooperated to organize class to learn Directive 05 "Promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" in combination with building up model values ​​of Binh Duong youth in the new period. Besides, he regularly updates articles and publishes news links, propagates orientations on Facebook page of the ward’s Youth Union.

With enthusiasm for youth movement, Mr. Thang proposed the model of "3 friendly smiles" to build a model of young, friendly cadre; At the same time, well maintained new models such as "Weekend playground", "Notebooks for students", "Youth do physical training", "Caring for Khmer ethnic members" and "Bookcases for young workers ".

Binh Duong youth today is very active in learning and development, establishing themselves and businesses. For example, Nguyen Thi Chau Anh, Di An High School (Di An Town) with start-up initiative "TATA House chain of stores for people with special diets". Chau Anh said: “In recent years, the demand for Vietnamese meals with reasonable and scientific nutrition is increasing. Thus I took the initiative to start "Store chain for people with special diets - TATA House". The purpose of this model is to solve nutritional problems for Vietnamese people’s meals”. This initiative was at the top of 3 outstanding start-up initiatives at StartUp Idea Battle 2018 hosted by Eastern International University. Furthermore, Chau Anh is also the owner of "Summer camp for training and improving soft skills for junior high and high school students". This model was performed through summer camp activities with the participation of speakers who are pioneers in social fields, to help students practice and learn eloquence skills, logic thinking, solving integration problems, digital technology...

To volunteer for the people

Always upholding the spirit of "Binh Duong Public Security Youth volunteer for national security, for people's happiness", during Youth Month 2019, Provincial Public Security Youth Union volunteered and participated in a 5-day campaign "eating together, staying together, working together with the people”. Provincial Public Security Youth Union carried out this project with 5 volunteer teams to live together with 7 households in Thanh An commune (Dau Tieng district). The teams organized free health examination, dispenses medicine, and provided health counseling for the people; patrolled at night, prevented crimes, ensured local security, and repaired 1km of rural roads. On the other hand, young soldiers also dredged, cleared the flow of 200m inland canals, renovated houses and rural roads; built a children's play area for Cham children and supported the study of one disadvantaged child till 18 years old. Youth Union of Provincial Public Security also organized historical trips for youth union members to go to red addresses; arts and culture, sports exchange activities with youth and local people.

With that meaning, the 5-day project "eating together, staying together, working together with the people" contributed to heightening the good image of Binh Duong Police soldiers in the hearts of the people; thereby contributing to propagating and educating youth union members on behaviors, respectful and polite attitude towards the people, being near the people, listening to people's opinions and helping people.
