Young people in Binh Duong share love with central region

Provincial Youth Union has actively responded to the program of “Sharing love with central region”. Accordingly, the local young people over the past days joined hands to support people hit by natural disasters and floods in the central region.

Nguyen Huynh Nguyen Vy, Secretary of Bau Bang district’s Youth Union said that the district’s Youth Federation has coordinated with “Nu cuoi Viet” (Viet smile) group of 29 members, including  young workers living and working in the district to implement a program “Compassionate truck-joining hands for people in the central region” in 2020.

Accordingly, they have so far mobilized more than 1,000 gifts, comprising of milk, instant noodles, “banh tet” (cylindrical glucious rice cake), medicine, soya sauce, blankets, mats…and nearly 2 tons of clothes from organizations, individuals to support flood-hit people in the central region through 3 trucks.

Following the program, the district’s Youth Federation also mobilized nearly VND54million, which will be sent to provincial Youth Federation and the district’s Fatherland Front Committee to support flood victims in the central region.

Whilst, after more than one week of calling for donations to flood-hit people in the central region, the Club “connecting golden heart” under Dau Tieng district’s Youth Federation has mobilized nearly VND100million in cash together with necessities from organizations and individuals to support flood victims in the central region.

Sharing the heart towards the central region, Vo Son Dien, Chairman of provincial Young Entrepreneurs ‘Association said that the association has also raised VND354.5million from members to support central people hit by floods and national disasters. Officials, civil servants and young workers under provincial Agency-Business Bloc’s Youth Union have actively made contributions and mobilized donors to support gifts, cash for flood victims in the central region, helping them surmount difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

Along with Youth Union members, pupils across the province have supported confectionary, clothes, notebooks…for children in flood areas of the central region. With warm sentiment, the local young people have made efforts toward the central region by concrete deeds. This will be the motivation for central people to surmount difficulties and soon stabilize their lives after flash floods.
