*Tan Uyen motivates theYouth Year 2011

 

Provincial Youth Union, Dau Tieng district’s Youth Union and Dau Tieng Rubber Corp.’s Youth Union jointly launched the “Youth Day for the Poor” campaign.

 

This campaign aims to uphold the volunteer role of the local youths in mobilizing all social forces to take care of the lives of the poor. On this occasion, Dau Tieng district’s coordinators team for the project of “Supporting poor youths to set themselves up in business to rise up out of poverty” was also set up.

 

*The Steering Board for the Youth Year 2011 of Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union launched the “Youths act for disadvantaged children” campaign on the morning of Jan.1.

 

On this occasion, Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union Standing Committee mobilized the local donors to raise VND48mln to the fund of “Lightening up the dreams of Tan Uyen’s youths” and the Tet program for poor children 2011. The local donors also contributed VND30mln to the “Houses of compassion” program. The Tet program for poor children 2011 was also launched with the target of donating 300 Tet gifts worth VND60mln to poor children across the district.
