Provincial Youth Unions at all levels have launched the Youth Month 2020 under the theme of “Binh Duong’s youths are voluntary, creative for community” with many animated works.

Tran Bao Lam, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee said that “Binh Duong’s youths are voluntary, creative for community” is the theme of this year’s Youth Month 2020, aiming to educate patriotism, pride of the nation and the Party, Youth Union’s glorious tradition among young generations, promote their volunteer activities…All contribute to building up a more prosperous, beautiful and civilized Binh Duong, creating an animated patriotic movement in all fields…in celebration of Party congresses at all levels towards the 13^th national Party congress and the 89^th founding anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931-March 26, 2020).

This year, Thuan An town will host to organize provincial-level ceremony to launch the Youth Month 2020 at its Center for Culture and Sports today, February 29. Accordingly, the Youth Unions of the province and the town will introduce outstanding youth works to be realized in 2020; donate “red scraf” houses, recreational areas for children, laptops, “Ho Van Men” scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils. After the ceremony, the Youth Unions of wards, communes in the town will organize many practical activities in response to the Youth Month 2020.

Accordingly, Youth Union members in wards of Binh Hoa, Lai Thieu and An Son commune will carry out a journey “following the tradition for sustainable future” with such significant activities as visiting, offering gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers. The Youth of Binh Chuan ward will also implement a “civilized street” model; give free cut hair for children…Especially, at the launching ceremony, the town’s Youth Union will organize a series of propaganda on healthcare and how to prevent diseases, a program “exchanging waste for gifts” including medical masks, hand sanitizers…; donate “civilized street” works to wards, communes…

Also on this occasion, An Linh commune in Phu Giao district has been eager to organize many meaningful activities, including helping 45-year Party membership officials clean up their houses; donating 3 slides, 2 swings to the local children; delivering propaganda leaflets on how to prevent the acute respiratory from the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), offering free medical masks to locals, cleaning up some streets. Le Thi Thao, Secretary of Phuoc Sang communal Party Committee in the district said that this is a chance for youngsters to uphold their voluntary spirit for the sake of the community, contributing to the local socio-economic development.

Whilst, Di An town’s Youth Union will set up volunteer squads with practical activities in response to the Youth Month 2020, comprising of delivering propaganda leaflets against Covid-19; guiding Youth Union members, pupils and locals how to wash their hands properly; making environmental hygiene; donating “dream” rooms to young workers with difficult circumstances…
