On October 3-4, the 11^th Congress of Binh Duong provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of 2022-2027 tenure will be held at Binh Duong provincial Center for Convention and Exhibition.

In recent days, the Youth Union at all levels in the province have been actively propagating about the 11th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Binh Duong province for 2022-2027 tenure in vivid visuals. The atmosphere of the Congress is spreading as banners are hung on roads, headquarters, agencies and units of the Youth Union in many localities. Union units and youth union members have also posted many images on fanpages and enthusiastically organized cultural, artistic, sports and contesting activities to celebrate the upcoming Congress.

In the localities, standing committees of districts, towns and cities met with the delegation who attend the upcoming Congress to congratulate and encourage them to focus and promote the sense of responsibility, to contribute ideas at the congress and absorb the programs and resolutions of the congress to propagate and develop specific implementation plans in accordance with local characteristics in order to further improve the quality of Youth Union activities and youth movements in the localities.

Binh Duong provincial Youth Union has promoted the wisdom and responsibility of the Standing Committee, Executive Committee, and Youth Union officers in the preparation and organization of the Congress. Up to now, in addition to the elaborate decoration of the ceremony, the Congress preparation has ensured the time of agenda in accordance with the approved program and plan and ready for the Congress to take place. The attention, leadership and facilitation of the provincial Party Committee and Central Youth Union together with the sense of responsibility of the Youth Union officers and the enthusiastic spirit of the Youth Union members in the province are the beliefs and favorable conditions for the 11th Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress of 2022-2027 tenure to take place successfully. Thereon, the provincial Youth Union has inherited and promoted the achieved results to affirm the role of the Youth Union in building the CPV and government, contributing to socio-economic development and ensuring local national defense and security.

Ready for the congress

The Standing Committee of the provincial Youth Union held a meeting with the heads of delegations participating in the congress to inform and review the congress preparation. At the conference, the provincial Youth Union informed the delegations of a number of agenda, programs, regulations at the congress, the participants, the content of preparing opinions to participate in the discussion of documents and forums at the Congress and the preparation for the great festival of local youths.

According to the Standing Committee, the 11th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the province has 290 official delegates added up from 21 delegations, who are excellent youths in various fields, representing the aspirations of Binh Duong youths. In addition, the Congress will be attended by representatives of the Secretariat, the Standing Committee of the Central Youth Union, the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, the Party Committees of the units under the provincial Party Committee, the heroic Vietnamese mothers, the heroes of the armed forces in the province, Standing People's Council, People's Committee, the provincial Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front, representatives of leaders of departments, branches, and socio-political organizations in the province.

The Congress will elect the provincial Youth Union Executive Committee with a reasonable plenum and structure, ensuring standards of political qualities, qualifications and practical capacity to lead the local Youth Union and youth movements. Ms. Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of the provincial Youth Union, said: "The Congress will report on the summary of the 2017-2022 term, setting out goals, tasks and solutions for the Youth Union and the youth movement for the 2022-2027 term. Besides, a review of the Executive Committee of the 10^th tenure provincial Youth Union will be summarizing comments on the draft document of the 11th Provincial Youth Union Congress and the 12th National Youth Union Congress; at the same time, the provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the title of Secretary of the provincial Youth Union, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Youth Union and the official delegation to attend the 12th National Congress of the Youth Union will be elected.”

The congress also held discussions on the contents to exchange work experiences and promote the spirit of youth in the new era. In particular, the Congress focuses on discussing the role of youth in building e-government and smart city in Binh Duong province, the role of the Youth Union in the development of high-quality human resources of the province in the current stage and solutions to improve the quality of expanding the solidarity fronts and gathering young workers in the province.

At the Congress, the Standing Board of the provincial Youth Union implements the digital transformation plan in the organization, specifically by taking attendance through the web app of ‘My Aloha’ using paperless documents, notebooks and journals and online voting on the rules, regulations and resolutions of the Congress.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the provincial Youth Union organizes a 3D virtual reality space exhibition of movements and creative models among youths in the province, agricultural and production products of the affiliated districts, towns, unions and grassroots. Prominently in exhibition activities is scientific and technical products like automated conveyors using PLCs and IoT-applied environmental monitoring and warning systems, 3D printers, robot vacuums, scanners, 3D robot arm among others at the area to show the scientific creativity and technological progress of Binh Duong youths.
