October 3, the 11^th Congress of Binh Duong provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for 2022-2027 tenure was solemnly held at Binh Duong provincial Center for Convention and Exhibition with attendance of Nguyen Minh Triet – former Politburo member and State President, Nguyen Hoang Thao – permanent Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee, Vo Van Minh – Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee and Chairman of People’s Committee, Pham Van Chanh – member of Binh Duong provincial Standing Party Committee and Chairman of People’s Council, Nguyen Van Loc – member of Standing Committee of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee Mass Mobilization and Chairman of Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, Nguyen Pham Duy Trang – Secretary of Central Youth Union and Chairwoman of Central Council of Children Pioneers, and 290 delegated Youth Union members in the province.

Impressive milestones

The 11th Congress of Binh Duong provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for 2022-2027 tenure has the theme of "Binh Duong youth unification – aspiration – creativity – integration – and development to build a strong Union, contributing part of building Binh Duong into a smart, civilized and modern city" and the slogan of "Binh Duong youth unite, aspire, create and develop".

The Congress approved the report summarizing the Youth Union's work and the provincial youth movement of 2017-2022 term, working direction of Youth Union and youth movement of the province in 2022-2027 term. In the past 5 years, the "Youth Volunteers" movement in the whole province has organized to participate in building new countryside and urban civilization. Along with that, the work of developing and building the Union's organization, especially the expansion of the solidarity front, gathering and taking care of young workers and young people in particular achieved positive results. The work in charge of the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union and pioneers, caring for and educating teenagers and children has many innovations and creativity in form. Activities to take care of children, especially orphans and children facing problems during the epidemic were organized simultaneously throughout the province, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of children.

For the achieved results, the province's Youth Union, Association and Pioneer organizations for 5 consecutive years were awarded the excellent emulation flag by the Central Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Youth Confederation, the Student Union, the Central Pioneer Council and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Binh Duong province was awarded the first class Labor Medal; the provincial Vietnamese Student Union was awarded the third-class Labor Medal.

Reforms and creativity

The 11th provincial Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of 2022-2027 term is an important political event of Binh Duong youths. The congress takes place in two days from October 3 to 4; review the leadership and direction of the Executive Board, the Standing Board of the provincial Youth Union of the 10^th tenure; elected the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the 11th tenure and the positions of Secretary of the provincial Youth Union and Deputy Secretary of the provincial Youth Union for the 2022-2027 term, ensuring that the requirements, tasks and effective implementation are met by the resolutions proposed by the meeting agenda.

In addition, at the congress, forums were organized with focus on sharing typical models, good practices during the term to replicate and spread throughout the Union; at the same time, to discuss, evaluate and analyze the limitations and causes indicated in the political report to set out targets, tasks and solutions to overcome in the coming time.

Speaking at the congress, Nguyen Hoang Thao - Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, exchanged a number of key contents and suggested some matters for the congress to study, discuss and decide to implement in the next meeting, in which, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee requested the provincial Youth Union to regularly attach importance to and do better the work of political and ideological education for young people; on the other hand, it is necessary to improve the quality of the Union's action movements and programs to accompany the youths to further promote the role of the Youth Union as the "socialist school" of youth.

The whole Union continued to strongly innovate the content and mode of operation, to expand the united front, to gather youth in many diverse, rich and effective forms; at the same time, it is necessary to regularly build a really strong Union organization in terms of politics, ideology, organization and action to be worthy of being a companion of members and a reliable reserve staff of the Party. The Party Committee, government and people of the province always believe that by energy, talent, enthusiasm and creativity, Binh Duong youth will grow up quickly; Youth Union work and youth movements throughout the province will have new development steps, worthy of the stature of a heroic land in combat, dynamism, efficiency in development and integration today and in the future.

The 11th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Binh Duong province for 2022-2027 term is a great festival of local youth, expressing the desire to contribute to building Binh Duong into a smart, civilized, and modern city.
