Youth volunteer squad “For green-clean-nice city” set up

The Youth Union of Thu Dau Mot city has just organized a ceremony to establish a youth volunteer squad “For green-clean-nice city” with the participation of 100 Youth Union members.

At the ceremony, the local Youth Union members took part in planting 1,000 green trees in response to the “For a green Vietnam” program for the period of 2018-2020 launched by the Central Committee of the Youth Union, contributing to protecting the environment and combating climate change towards sustainable development.

They also got involved in growing ornamental flowers along Nguyen Chi Thanh street in wards of Hiep An, Tan An, Tuong Binh Hiep…, contributing to effectively implementing the campaign of cultural lifestyle, civilized urban construction, striving to build Thu Dau Mot into a civilized, prosperous and beautiful city.
