Youths in Phu Giao effectively realize volunteer activities

Phu Giao district’s Youth Union, Youth Federation have just held a conference to review their activities in 2018 and define orientations, tasks for 2019.

In 2018, the district’s Youth Unions and associations at all levels effectively implemented revolutionary action programs and Youth Union movements; organized 34 classes for candidates for the Youth Union; admitted additional 961 Youth Union members; recommended 120 outstanding Youth Union members to the Party and there were 85 outstanding Youth Union members admitted to the Party.

The local youths also actively got involved in voluntary activities for the sake of the community, including providing free medical check-ups and medicine for policy beneficiaries, the elderly and the poor; launching “Voluntary Saturday”, “Green Sunday” campaigns; mobilizing people to take part in environmental protection; awarding 210 scholarships and 1,400 notebooks to pupils with difficult circumstances...

On this occasion, there were 2 collectives and 2 individuals awarded the certificates of the Youth Union Central Committee; 4 collectives and 8 individuals with the certificates of merit of provincial Youth Union; 4 collectives and 6 individuals with the certificates of merit of provincial Youth Federation; 21 collectives and 21 individuals with the certificates of merit of the district’s Youth Federation…
