Youths pay tribute to heroic martyrs

Tan Uyen town’s Youth Union will organize a wide range of significant activities on the occasion of the 72^nd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day.

Along with activities disseminating the significance of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day and the results of “paying debt of gratitude” work, the town’s Youth Union will give healthcare for policy beneficiary families, revolutionary contributors; clean up martyrs’ cemeteries, martyrs’ monuments, historical-cultural relic sites; organize a “return to the root” festival; visit and offer gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers, policy beneficiary families…

*Chairman of Tan Uyen town’s People’s Committee has just approved decisions on recognition of the title of “good communes, wards in war invalid, martyr and revolutionary contributor work” for all 12 communes, wards in the town.

Also on this occasion, there are 21 war invalids winning the title of “model citizen” and 15 martyrs’ families with the title of “exemplary revolutionary family”.
