"Zero-Dong Market" brings joy to disadvantaged people

To continue to carry out humanitarian activities to celebrate the 77th anniversary of Vietnam Red Cross Society (November 23, 1946 - November 23, 2023) and implement the "Tet of Kindness" movement in Tet 2024, on December 12, at Humanitarian Activity Point, Street 30-4, Phu Hoa Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Provincial Red Cross organized the program "Zero-Dong Market" to support people having difficult circumstances in the area. Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee, attended the program.

Bui Thanh Nhan present gratitude boards to units and individuals who supported resources to carry out the market.

This "Zero-Dong Market" session presented shopping vouchers to 500 workers, people having difficult circumstances in the province and members of Provincial Blind Association. Each voucher was worth 2.7 million VND, including 500,000 VND in cash, a health check ticket at Medic Binh Duong General Hospital, and many essential items. The total expenditure of the market was 1.5 billion VND.

Speaking at the program, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Nhan respectfully thanked organizations, individuals, units and businesses who have always supported and accompanied Provincial Red Cross in humanitarian activities. He also hopes to have more businesses, organizations and individuals do humanitarian charity work, donate resources to continue maintaining the "Zero-Dong Market" program, as well as help more people having difficult situations in the province in the coming time.
