100% enlisted young persons are tested for Covid-19

Update: 26-02-2021 | 16:00:30

Due to the complicated development of the Coronavirus, in order to ensure the enlistment quality, Binh Duong province organized Covid-19 tests for 100% of young people who have been recruited for military service. It is expected that the sampling time will be on February 27th simultaneously across the province, with 412 samples combined and 150 single samples.

Accordingly, when taking a sample (5 people / 1 sample) if a test result is positive for COVID-19, provincial functional branches will continue to take affirmative tests, provide treatment, and patients will be enlisted later. Previously, young persons who were recruited were forced to make medical declarations, install NCovi and Bluezone apps.

In particular, in order to ensure epidemic prevention and control during the enlistment process, Provincial COVID-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee also directed localities to implement four on-site things (On-site prevention, isolation and treatment; on-site facilities, equipment, medicines, protection; on-site funding; on-site manpower), carry out body temperature measurements, wear face masks, hand sanitation, perform physical distancing and environmental treatment at locations of sending and receiving enlisted men. People attending sending-off ceremony of enlisted men must strictly implement the 5K recommendation of Ministry of Health.
