Activities of internal political affairs, corruption prevention and fighting and judicial reforms gain encouraging results

In the afternoon of January 12, Binh Duong provincial Party Committee held a meeting to review internal political affairs, anti-corruption and judicial reforms in 2020 and implement tasks in 2021. Attending the event was Tran Van Nam, member of Party Central Committee of CPV, Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee cum Head of Binh Duong provincial National Assembly Delegation, Tran Hoang Kiem, Deputy Director of Local Department III, Central Internal Affairs Committee, Vo Van Ba, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of Internal Affairs Committee of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee and leaders of departments, branches and units in the internal main block of the province.

In 2020, the political security situation, social order and safety in the province had been maintained and stably. The Party Committees and local authorities of all levels have well concretized and organized the implementation of the instructions of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee. Functional departments have actively built and implemented plans to ensure security and order during holidays and New Year events and during the organization of the Party Congress at all levels, preceding the 13^th Congress of the Party. The prevention and control of Covid-19 pandemic have been paid good attention; the organization has been directed to implement many suitable plans for the new situations and developments. The work of education on national defense and security, building an all-people defense posture associated with the people's security posture, building a standing force, militia and self-defense force, and mobilization reserve have been effectively and fruitfully implemented; recruitment and enlistment work in 2020 have met the assigned targets. Law dissemination and education have been implemented synchronously and effectively in many diversified forms, focusing on main targets. The inspection, reception of people and the settlement of complaints and denunciations were carried out in accordance with the process, procedures and competence within the laws; many complicated cases have been resolved in long-term dialogues, final settlement, and relief of public frustrations.

For the anti-corruption activities, Binh Duong provincial Party Committee has in recent years drastically directed and set out many specific, practical, appropriate tasks and solutions to fight and prevent corruption and "minor corruption" by increasing inspection and supervision of activities, by paying close attention to and directing cases involving corruption, by focusing on administrative reforms in order to limit the harassment and negative actions. By the internal self-inspection, the inspectors have not discovered negative cases and the harassment that must be handled. The complicated and serious cases drawing the concerned society have been resolved in accordance with regulations. The judicial reforms have been implemented in a timely and effective manner with the conclusions and directions of the central and provincial authorities.

Concluding the conference, Tran Van Nam acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of determination and coordination among agencies, departments and units in the internal main block of the province. At the same time, internal affairs, anti-corruption and judicial reforms are required to be effectively implemented in the units while solutions to solve difficulties and problems during the implementation process in the spirit of respect for the law should be detected in accordance with the Party's guidelines and the laws of the State.

On this occasion, the Central Internal Affairs Committee awarded the medal of "for the cause of CPV's Internal Affairs" to 22 individuals who have made many contributions to the construction and development of the Party's Internal Affairs. Binh Duong provincial People's Committee awarded many certificates of merit to collectives and individuals for their excellent achievements in anti-corruption in the 2013-2020 and for excellent achievements in judicial reforms in 2016-2020.
