All-level Women’s Unions assisted members in hardship due to Covid-19

On the occasion of Vietnamese Family Day on June 28, the month of action for children, Women's Unions at all levels throughout the province have strengthened social charity drives to take care of disadvantaged women and children in difficult situation and affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.

Specifically, in the morning of June 22, the Women's Union of Thanh Tuyen Commune distributed 55 gifts of VND. 16.5 million to poor households in the commune to encourage and help them overcome the difficult time caused by the Covid-19 epidemic. The funding was called from wealth-off member households in the commune.

Previously, the Women's Union of Khanh Binh ward in Tan Uyen town also held a preliminary review of the first 6 months of 2021 and launched the program of "Humanity during the epidemic" to help hundreds of cases in difficulties in the medical quarantine areas.

The Women's Union of Tan Hiep ward in Tan Uyen town also mobilized benefactors, officials and members to support people in two blocked areas in Tan Phuoc Khanh and Tan Vinh Hiep with necessities such as rice,  instant noodles, chicken eggs, cooking oil, mineral water etc. of VND 25 million.
