Bau Bang district celebrate the 53rd anniversary of Bau Bang Victory

 Morning 12 Nov, Bau Bang district celebrated the 53rd anniversary of Bau Bang Victory (12 Nov 1965 - 12 Nov 2018).

At the ceremony, leaders of Bau Bang district offered flowers, incense and reviewed the historical 53 years of Bau Bang Victory, especially Bau Bang battle. In this battle, after 6 fighting hours, soldiers and people of Bau Bang collaborated with the 9th Infantry Division to destroy two infantry battalions, two armored tank battalions, one artillery company and the whole the 3rd Brigade Commander of America. More than 2,000 US troops were eliminated, 39 tanks and 8 heavy artillery pieces were fired or destroyed. This battle, coupled with Dau Tieng Victory, was described as a "fist of steel" on the southern battlefield, not only altering the battlefield but also forming a new plan, creating the movement to eliminate the enemies.

At present, Bau Bang district is changing rapidly, becomes the destination of many domestic and foreign investors. Bau Bang is focusing on speeding up industrialization and modernization for a comprehensive and sustainable development and soon become the key industrial and urban center of the province.

At the ceremony, civil servants, armed forces, students of the district burnt incense to commemorate heroic martyrs, who sacrificed in the Bau Bang battle.
