Bau Bang District encourages the establishment of cooperatives and cooperative groups

 Nguyen Van Thuong, Vice Chairman of Bau Bang District People's Committee, said that in 2020, the collective economy in the district continued to be sustained and developed. Accordingly, there are 10 cooperatives, 7 cooperative groups with 61 members in the district. Currently, some noteworthy cooperative groups established and active in agricultural field are Tan Hung pomelo, Tan Hung citrus plant, Tan Hung commune fruit trees. Currently, these production models help farmers improve their incomes and create a stable source of income.

In the coming time, in addition to petitioning Provincial Cooperatives Alliance to increase support capital for cooperatives, the district also encourage the establishment of clubs, groups, cooperative groups, or production groups by specialization or multidisciplinary sectors. Along with that, the district will create a farmer's forum to exchange experience, techniques and market information to promote the application of science and technology, production and consumption of products according to the chain of efficient production links.
