Bau Bang district receive certificate ranking provincial historical site of Cay Truong military station

Early October 23, Bau Bang district People’s Committee organized a ceremony receiving certificate ranking provincial historical site of Cay Truong military station at Tru Van Tho commune.
In the resistance war, Cay Truong military station was major force gathering of Saigon puppet government. The station was well defensed by modernly armed forces sponsored by the US Army.
The victory of Cay Truong military station was the success of our forces and people in destroying the system of strategic hamlets of Long Nguyen and in liberating locals from being gathered in concentrated strategic halmets, contributing to the destruction of administration of model strategic hamlets by Saigon puppet government in the Southern battlefield of Vietnam. In the meantime, a strategic corridor of Road 13 wa open to connect North of Ben Cat to D War-base and Duong Minh Chau War-base, helping our forces and people to sustain our resistance war bases.
On this occasion, the delegates cut th ribbons to inaugurate the exhibition galery of victory of Cay Truong military station and had a view on the restructed items on display.
