Binh Duong Customs Department achieves budget revenue of VND 15,400 billion over 9 months

Over the first 9 months of 2019, Binh Duong Customs Department collected nearly VND 11,800 billion for State budget revenue, reaching 81.6% of the targets assigned by the Ministry of Finance, up 10.34% over the same period in 2018. The department is striving to earn VND 15,400 billion for total State budget revenue in 2019.

Leaders of Binh Duong Customs Department said that in the past 9 months, the department implemented drastically directives of Ministry of Finance, General Department of Customs, and Provincial People's Committee on the performance of tasks and solutions to improve business environment, improve national competitiveness. Besides, the department implemented the general socio-economic development plan of the province and customs sector’s action program on customs modernization, building strong and transparent organization...

There are now 40 joint-stock commercial banks cooperating with the department to perform budget collection, among which 26 banks have applied electronic tax payment and 24/7 customs clearance. Binh Duong Customs Department also enhanced propagation and efficiency of online customs clearance. Over 9 months, the department received 18,365 records, ranked 2nd in the whole sector in terms of dossier number received online.

In order to complete the assigned tasks in 2019, Binh Duong Customs Department focuses on implementing solutions to increase budget revenue, strives to collect VND15,400 billion for State budget; organizes examination and inspection of actual conditions of customs clearance, reports unqualified agents to General Department of Customs to suspend or terminate operations according to Circular 12/2015/TT-BTC and Circular 22/2019/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance.

In addition, provincial customs sector built a plan to examine, determine origins, combat frauds, counterfeits of origin and label, illegal goods transports from China according to Official Letter 5189/TCHQ-GSQL dated 20 Sep 2019 of the General Department of Customs; control and fight smuggling of goods by air and post into bonded warehouses in the area. The department continues to control and ensure stable operation, improve the efficiency of automated electronic clearance system VNACCS / VCIS to detect and fight smuggling and commercial frauds, counterfeit goods, illegal transportation of drug substances; actively apply utilities of the national one-stop shop mechanism...
