Bus lines re-operate after Tet, passenger number decreases

Update: 20-02-2021 | 16:24:10

On Feb 17, bus routes in the province, which were suspended from Feb 9th due to the impact of COVID-19, have resumed its normal operation. However, the number of passengers has decreased significantly; many departures had only a few passengers, especially routes to tourist destinations, because of the implementation of disease prevention control, no cultural sports activities, no crowded places, hence the number of passengers is not as stable as in previous years.

Bus routes sparsely left stations on the first re-opening day on Feb 17.

Previously, according to the proposal of public bus passenger transport enterprises, due to the complicated epidemic situation, they actively applied for permission to suspend the operation of 10 bus routes. Only bus routes of Becamex Tokyu Bus Company have been operated according to registered schedule.
