Economic development tied to environmental protection

 According to provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment, during 2016-2020 period, environmental targets of the province reached 100%. Specifically, the percentage of medical solid waste collected and treated was 100%; 100% proportion of rural population using sanitary water; cover rate of forests, forestry trees, perennial industrial trees was 57.5% (target 57.5%).

In 2020-2025 period, the province continues to stick to the goal of economic development tied to environmental protection in the direction of green - clean - beautiful. According to the target, the province strives to fulfil a percentage of domestic solid waste collected and treated to be 99% by 2025; the coverage rate for forestry and perennials to remain at 57.5%.
