Excellent students of 2019-2020 school year praised and awarded

Early November 13, Binh Duong provincial Department of Education and Training organized a meeting to award and praise excellent students of 2019-2020 school year. Attending the event was Nguyen Loc Ha, member of Standing Board of Provincial People’s Committee cum Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Council and Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Deputy Chairwoman of Provincial People’s Council.

Nguyen Loc Ha awards merit certificates of Binh Duong provincial Department of Education and Training to students passing national excellent student contests

In 2019-2020, Binh Duong provincial Department of Education and Training organized contests of selecting excellent students who attend provincial and national contests. Through each contesting round, the department directed schools to learn strategies and assign teachers to train excellent students for the following up rounds. By doing so, the teams of all-level excellent students have been improved in terms of quantity and quality. Particularly in the last school year, 34 students passed the national excellent student contest while in 2019-2020, 1,574 students earned entrance mark points to universities and colleges at 24 to 29.

Within the contests, 16 students won second and third prizes of national excellent student contest. One student won fourth prize of national science and technology society and awarded by Ministry of Education and Training the merit certificate. Binh Duong provincial Department of Education and Training awarded merit certificates to 46 teachers while 1,719 students won promotional prizes of national contests, junior high contests and high entrance mark points to universities and colleges.
