Financial support for nearly 58,000 people affected by the Covid-19

 To implement Resolution No. 42/NQ-CP dated 9th April 2020 of the Government on measures to support people facing difficulties caused by Covid-19 pandemic, localities in the province announced, checked, evaluated, and made a list of vulnerable people groups to receive support.

Accordingly, the total number of supported people in the province included 68,035 people, 375 enterprises, with a total expenditure of VND 70.31 billion. As of 1st June 2020, the province took support from state budget and gave to 57,837 people with a total cost of 58.5 billion VND. In particular, total support amount of VND9.12 billion for people with revolutionary meritorious service are entitled to a monthly preferential allowance; VND10.98 billion for poor and near-poor households; VND32.23 billion for social protection beneficiaries who are receiving a monthly social allowance; VND6.15 billion for retail sellers of lottery tickets. Currently, the remaining vulnerable groups are being considered and will be supported in the earliest time.
