Guarantee of adequate goods supply, no price hikes

On 31 March, provincial Department of Industry and Trade chaired a meeting with goods suppliers in the province to proactively prepare for the epidemic period. Participants included representatives of related departments, sectors and enterprises of market stabilization program in the province.

As planned, Co. Opmart Binh Duong supermarket continued to replenish supplies with 20,000 essential items worth VND40 billion. Vinmart and Vinmart + supermarkets system developed a stock plan of VND151 billion. The participants committed to not increasing prices and ensuring vital amounts of goods during the period, to prevent the shortage of essential goods from happening, causing market instability. Representatives of supermarkets also committed to ensuring disease prevention during shopping by strengthening the internal communication system, keeping safe distance when shopping, strengthen logistics system to supply goods to phone and online orders...

Industry and Trade authorities tasked suppliers to prepare goods at warehouses in the most complete way, timely operation when there is an emergency situation. Suppliers must quickly bring goods to supermarkets to serve the people.
