Local people contribute VND 500 billion to build new rural areas

VND 500 billion is the amount of money people contributed in the total mobilized capital of VND 2,500 billion of Bac Tan Uyen district for the district's new rural construction program in the past 10 years.

Along with that, the business community in the district has also contributed more than VND 300 billion for the new rural construction program. Up to now, 100% of district roads have been asphalted and concreted, 100% of communal roads and hamlet roads have been asphalted, concreted and hardened to ensure a convenient circulation and transportation of goods; 14/25 schools meet national standards.

Currently, Bac Tan Uyen district has 9/9 communes meeting the standards of new rural communes and the district has completed the criteria to meet the new rural district standards.
