Ly Hoang Nam defeats the ATP-370th player

On the opening day of the 2019 Vietnam Open Danang City tournament, Ly Hoang Nam was a surprise when he defeated German player Daniel Altmaier, who is ranked 370th of ATP.

The match was very fascinating right from the first game. Two players competed for a break to put a set into the tie-break series. Hoang Nam won with final score 7-5, after 3 sets (2 hours 33 minutes) with the score 7-6 (0); 4-6 and 7-6 (5).

This victory helped Binh Duong's player get 3 points up in the ATP and USD 520 reward. Hoang Nam's rival in 1/16 round will be the No. 7 seed of Sebastian Fanselow (German) who is ranked 323 ATP.
