Many activities commemorate the 60th anniversary of "Hatred Phu Loi"

Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Plan No. 48/KH-SVHTTDL on organizing activities to commemorate the 60th anniversary of "Hatred Phu Loi" (1 Dec 1958 -1 Dec 2018).

According to the plan, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with Revolutionary Liaison Committee will celebrate the 60th "Hatred Phu Loi" Day on 30 Nov at Phu Loi prison with activities such as: communication, visual propagation; cultural shows; exhibition of documents, items, images of Phu Loi Prison and typical prisons in wars; exchange, visit, learn about the history of Phu Loi prison.

The purpose of these memorial activities is to commemorate the great sacrifices of revolutionary generations, who were imprisoned by the enemies in the American prison system; propagate the revolutionary history, raise awareness and pride in the struggle of Binh Duong soldiers and people, cultivate the people’s belief in the leadership of the Party. This will be also a chance to give lessons on the patriotic tradition, the heroic struggle of older generations to the young generation, contributing to develop the values of national historical monument Phu Loi prison.
