The contest of "Explanation and introduction of tourist destinations in Binh Duong province" in 2020 has been closed but the echo still lingers in the hearts of the contestants participating in the contest. The competition was launched by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) and handed over to the provincial Tourism Promotion Center unit as a standing organization. This is one of the activities in response to the 60th anniversary of the Vietnam Tourism Industry Day (9.7.1960 - 9.7.2020); It is part of a series of activities to welcome the Party Congress at all levels, towards the 13th National Congress of the Party.

The competition was launched from 4-5 days until June 19, 2020. With the participation in the communication activities of mass media agencies, together with the assistance in propagating and promoting information about the competition of departments, branches, mass organizations, schools in the area, applications, business travel service and the units in the field of culture, sports and tourism, the competition has been known. Thereby, the Organizing Committee has received the entry papers of nearly 60 candidates who are studying, working and living in the province. After the preliminary round, the contestants competed together in the qualifying round and 20 contestants entered the final round.

Mr. Tran Duc Minh, Director of the Provincial Tourism Promotion Center, said the contest is a useful playground, helping everyone, especially young people who love traveling, the land and people of Binh Duong have the opportunity to meet and exchange knowledge, skills and experience in voiceover and introduction. From this competition, Binh Duong tourism industry will find talented speakers and tour guides to continue training and supporting the province's tourism industry in the coming time.

Coming to the contest, the contestants have shown their ability, propaganda skills, introduction to tourist destinations in Binh Duong. According to the evaluation of the Organizing Committee, the majority of contestants have performed the test to meet the requirements and purposes set by the Organizing Committee. The contestants brought to the contest vivid and impressive presentations, contributing to the propaganda and promotion of Binh Duong tourism image in a real and close way. The content of the presentations is also very diverse, focusing on introducing outstanding tourist attractions of the home, such as historical - cultural relics, famous places, landscapes, ecotourism destinations, famous tourist areas, etc. In addition to the instructions, the presentation of the contestants is accompanied with illustrative content prepared and elaborately done with sharp images.

Master Phan Van Trung, Head of the jury of the competition, evaluated at the final round of 20 contestants who demonstrated the ability to present, eloquently, highlight the outstanding values ​​of historical and cultural relics. , famous places, landscapes, food in Binh Duong province for tourism development. The success of the contest does not stop at finding 16 contestants to award, but through the contest, the interested people introduced outstanding tourist destinations in Binh Duong province to friends, family, domestic and foreign tourists. This playground also helps contestants to learn, interact and learn more about tourist destinations. Many contestants who are well-prepared in terms of content and presentation format have won high prizes at the competition as a result of this.

Overcoming many contestants, contestant Bui Tran Nhat Khanh (Thuan An City) excelled in winning the first prize in this contest. Nhat Khanh shared: “Binh Duong has a lot of tourist attractions but when coming to this contest, I chose fruit orchards of my home country of Lai Thieu to introduce to everyone. From this competition opened me a lot of things, helping me learn many useful things about the land, culture, people where I live, especially love more homeland, Binh Duong land in general and Lai Thieu's land in particular"

The contest was closed, from the organizers to the contestants all expressed hope that the contest will continue to be maintained annually.
