Medicine retailers to strictly observe Ministry of Health standards

So as to promote role of retailers (store), Department of health has directed retailers and stores in the locality to fully implement measures for prevention of Covid-19.

Accordingly, the store system must follow the standard of medicine retailers and observe circular of Ministry of Health regarding prescription for outpatient treatments. On selling medicines, retailers musst follow procedures of sales and declaration of patients’s health background. In case of visitting patients of symptons like temperature, cough, breathing problems, the medicine stores should contact nearest medical facilties for assistance. The retailers are to report to medical agencies on hotline for monitoring of patients.
