New school for Vietnamese children in Cambodia

Addressing the ceremony, Touch So Thia, Chairman of the Kongpong Khleng provincial People’s Committee described the new school as a symbol of the friendship between the two countries.

Nguyen Huy Phong, vice chairman of the Binh Phuoc Provincial People’s Committee, stressed that the school was built on Tonle Sap Lake with two classrooms for students to learn Vietnamese and Khmer.

On this occasion, a lot of clothes, notebooks and utensils were presented for poor Vietnamese and Cambodians living in Ta Nien village.
