Patriotism emulation congress of Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee in 2020-2015

Early September 18, Central Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front organized its patriotism congress for 2020-2025 tenure, in the first-ever form of online conference for 63 provinces and cities nationwide.

Attending the event was Nguyen Xuan Phuc, member of Politburo, Prime Minister and Chairman of Central Council of Emulation and Awards, leaders, former leaders of CPV, the State, and Central Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front. In Binh Duong, attending and hosting the event was Nguyen Van Loc, member of Standing Committee, Head of Mass Mobilization of Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, and typical models.

Speaking to open the congress, Huynh Thanh Man, member of Central Committee of CPV cum Chairman of Central Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee stressed that patriotism emulation within all-level Vietnamese Fatherland Front has made beneficial transformation, contributing significantly to general achievements of the nation. The emulation and awards of the front have been constantly reformed in quality manner by praising and awarding those who have contributed to the cause, mobilizing participation of all people strata and affirming widespread unity of the people.

By the emulation movements initiated by Vietnamese Fatherland Front, various elite models have been emerged and praised by CPV, the State, and ministries. In 5 years, the Central Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front awarded over 43,700 commemorates for the cause of people’s grand unity and merit certificates to over 53,000 groups and individuals for their brilliant achievements in movements, emulations, and community contribution. At the current congress 175 models were praised.

On initiating patriotism emulation in 2020-2025, the Central Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front called upon domestic people strata and oversea Vietnamese to unify and mobilize all resources and creativity for the success of political duty success, socio-economic development of the nation, and construction of strong and transparent political system.

Addressing the congress, Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised Vietnamese Fatherland Front for their achievements, typical models, and unnamed contribution to the grand unity and development of the people while calling for more promotion to make up more effective and practical emulations.

In Binh Duong, Nguyen Van Loc, as authorized by the Prime Minister, awarded Prime Minister’s merit certificate to Tran Hong Hanh, Deputy Chairwoman of Provincial Vietnamese People’s Committee; merit certificates of Central Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front to Ly Ngoc Minh and Nguyen Minh Duc for their brilliant achievements in the patriotism emulation in 2015-2020.
