Update: 14-08-2020 | 08:39:34

The value of agricultural production in Phu Giao District is about 75 million VND / ha / year. Accordingly, the district's agricultural sector has a shift in crop structure towards reduction of annual crops, increasing perennial industrial crops in areas having suitable soil conditions. Currently, the total area of perennial trees in the district reaches 37,614 ha (an average annual increase of 0.25%).

In addition to the development of rubber trees, fruit-growing farms also thrived, initially forming concentrated fruit-growing areas along rivers and streams, especially orange trees, followed by other trees, such as green-skin grapefruit, tangerine, and seedless lemon. Up to now, the main fruit trees of the district have formed concentrated planting areas, with an area of about 1,300 hectares, mainly in communes An Thai, Phuoc Sang, An Binh, Vinh Hoa and most in Tam Lap commune.
