Project of equipment procurement for online conference to be sped up

 That is the direction of Nguyễn Hoàng Thao, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Standing Committee, at the conference to report the progress of project "Equipment procurement for online conference connecting between province, district and commune levels” of February 11. Attending the conference were Đặng Minh Hưng, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, and representatives of departments, branches, and districts, towns, cities.

Currently, the online video conference system at provincial and district level is put into operation with 12 venues. Management switchboard is located at provincial Center of Information Technology and Communication. At venues of Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People’s Committee use equipment and devices for large meeting rooms of over 20 participants; the remaining 9 venues use equipment and devices for small meeting rooms. Because the system is portable, it has supported the venue of provincial Convention and Exhibition Center. Especially, in 2018-2019, this system served more than 50 online meetings connecting from the province to the Central, or internal meetings of agencies and units in the province. At the conference, districts, towns and cities presented advantages and problems of each unit during the project implementation process; expected to complete the project by the end of Q1-2020...

Concluding the conference, Mr. Thao asked leaders of districts, towns and cities to pay attention, accelerate the progress, and determine to complete the project in June 2020 to serve socio-economic development tasks of the province.
