Provincial health sector manages well the medical environment

To carry out the project "Treatment of medical waste in Binh Duong province in 2011-2015 period, orientation towards 2020 and vision towards 2025", provincial health authority has implemented and managed well the medical environment in public and non-public medical examination facilities.

Public health facilities signed contracts to collect and treat medical solid waste with Binh Duong Water-Environment Joint Stock Company. Some non-public medical units contracted with other companies to perform medical solid waste treatment.

 Di An City, Bau Bang District, North Tan Uyen District, Dau Tieng District, Ben Cat Town, Tan Uyen Town completed construction and put into use medical wastewater treatment system. Meanwhile, in Thuan An city, local polyclinics and medical stations without medical wastewater treatment system will carry out connection as completing construction of a medical wastewater treatment factory in Vinh Phu ward. In Thu Dau Mot city, the city health center has completed the dossier of a simple environmental protection project for local medical stations and polyclinics.

In Phu Giao district, the district health center has an approved wastewater treatment project; 7 medical stations and Phuoc Hoa Clinic set up wastewater treatment system and put into operation.
