Responding activities to week of Vietnamese sea and islands held

Provincial People’s Committee has just demanded to organize activities in respond to the week of Vietnamese Sea and Islands and World Ocean Day 2020.

Accordingly, Department of Natural Resources and Environment coordinated with departments, sectors and local People’s Committee to organize information dissemination of the matters related to sea and islands of Vietnam in combination with implementation of local political tasks. The department shall also coordinate the information dissemination about management, protection and sustainable development of national economic potentials as well as the protection of legal rights and benefits of Vietnam in the East Sea.

From now to the end of June 2020, the department shall coordinate with related units to organize activities in respond to Week of Vietnamese Sea and Islands and World Ocean Day 2020. Accordingly, the related units are required to concentrate on specific activities to spread out to the community.

Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment coordinates with central ministries to respond to the events from June 1 through 8 in Phu Yen Province.
