To Nguyen Hoang Son, a pupil of Ngo Thoi Nhiem High School (TDM City), a visit Vinh Loi to Vinh Loi war zone in Vinh Tan Commune (Tan Uyen Township) is an unforgettable memory. Just entering the memorial, the victory monument aroused his national pride. He stopped for a long time at the gallery of artifacts, pictures of the two national resistance wars. These gave hime more evidence of a hard but heroic time of our ancestors. This used to be the place gathering our leaders of the two wars. The memorial is also a place has named more than 1,000 heroic martyrs, who had bravely sacrificed to bring independence, freedom for the beloved country.

Students visited Phu Loi prison.

Organizing visits to historical and cultural relics for students is an indispensable activity of schools. They need to be educated on revolutionary traditions to be more proud of the national spirit. Then, students realize their responsibility towards the country and try to learn and train themselves. On occasions such as: 30 Apr, 27 Jul, 2 Sep, 22 Dec etc. schools always organize activities of returning to the root, visits to red addresses, such as Phu Loi Prison, Iron Triangle tunnels, Vinh Loi war zone ... for students at all levels.

Truong Thi Thu Thuy, a pupil of provincial Continuing Education Center, said that after visiting Phu Loi Prison, which was once called "a hell on earth", she understood more the brutal torture of enemies to our soldiers through many images. She also found out that the culmination of crime was when the enemies poisoned thousands of political prisoners on December 1, 1958. Visiting such historical relics has fostered patriotism of students and helped students understand more about the history and traditions of the nation.

Le Nhat Nam, Deputy Director of Department of Education and Training, said that in recent years, schools had paid much attention to revolutionary ideal and ethic education to students in various forms. The sector also diversified and applied many of ideal revolutionary, ethical and lifestyle educational forms according to psychological characteristics of students' ages and integrated into activities of Youth Union through cultural, sports activities, creative experiential activities in schools.
