Social policy credit contributes to social security
In the morning of September 19, the Provincial People's Committee held a five-year preliminary meeting to implement Directive No. 40-CT/TW, November 22, 2014 of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership towards Social policy credit (social policy credit). Mr. Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit of Vietnam Social Policy Bank to collectives and individuals who have made outstanding achievements in implementing Directive 40-CT/TW.
After 5 years of implementing the directive, the social policy credit has supported more than 119,000 poor households and policy beneficiaries with a total loan of more than 3,288 billion dong. The quality of social policy credit is constantly being raised, and the rate of overdue debts is significantly reduced. As of June 1919, the total social policy credit capital in the province was over VND 2,603 billion, of which, the central capital was over VND 1,273 billion and the local trusted capital was VND 1,330 billion. Before the Party Central Committee's Secretariat issued Directive 40-CT/TW, Binh Duong implemented 10 lending programs, however, the implementation process of the province has flexibly finalized mechanisms, policies and mandated local capital. The only way to lend more money to 2 programs is to get out of poverty and give loans to social houses. Compared to 5 years ago, the province's social policy credit capital has increased by 1.5 times.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, affirmed that the social policy credit capital has contributed to poverty reduction, job creation, repelled "black credit" and above all performed well. social security in the area.
On this occasion, the provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 43 collectives and 35 individuals; Vietnam Bank for Social Policies awarded certificates of merit to 8 collectives and 5 individuals who have made outstanding achievements in implementing Directive 40-CT/TW.
