Tan Uyen Town to practice environmental protection

 According to Natural Resources and Environment Office of Tan Uyen Town, in August, the authority examined the compliance with environmental protection regulations of 10 cases. Two violation cases were handled, a total fine of VND287.6 million was collected. One case was to transferred to higher levels in accordance with regulations; three cases were forced into suspension and to make remedial actions according to laws.

The town People's Committee instructed People's Committees of communes and wards to review and classify establishments of wasted materials affecting negatively urban aesthetics, causing environmental pollution; and to formulate a enforcement plan. Currently the town has 67 businesses of wasted materials, of which 39 were licensed and 28 are without permission.
