The 8th Binh Duong Television Cycling Championship 2020 - Number 1 Cup: Exciting new year's racetrack

Morning January 5th, the opening ceremony of the 8th Binh Duong Television Cycling Championship 2020 - Number 1 Cup took place at Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center. The ceremony had the participation of Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee.

After seven consecutive seasons, this cycling tournament has become a prestigious playground of cyclists nationwide. In the 8th season, there were 14 clubs registered in 2 groups aged 16 to 40 and from 41 to 55. After the opening ceremony in Binh Duong New City, nearly 170 cyclists entered the opening leg of 'Coming to Phuoc Long to build victory'. The 119 km race with long slopes was really challenging.

However, with excitement, cyclists competed and obtained high quality from the start. Nguyen Tan Bao of Team Dai Phu 1 Club and Nguyen Van Hieu of Ga Tiem 9 Bot Thu Duc won bonus points along the way in Dong Xoai town and Bu Nho commune, in turn. At the destination Phuoc Long town, Nguyen Quoc Dung of Team Dai Phu 1 excellently finished and won first prize of age group from 16 to 40. Meanwhile, first prize of the other age group went to Tran Quoc Tuan of Dong Tay Stone Sculpture Team.

Also on January 5th, representatives of departments, agencies of Binh Phuoc province, Phuoc Long town, and the Organizing Committee of the tournament organized a delegation to offer flowers and incense at Phuoc Long Museum on occasion of the 46th anniversary of Phuoc Long Liberation, and on occasion of the Party, the government and people of Phuoc Long town to receive Third-class Labor Medal by the President.
