Thu Dau Mot City to celebrate the 90th the Party's Foundation Day

On 10 Jan, Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Dau Mot City held a meeting to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (3 Feb 1930 - 3 Feb 2020). Attending the meeting were Trần Văn Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial National Assembly delegation; former leaders of the province, Thu Dau Mot City over periods of time, representatives of departments, branches, unions, and revolutionary veterans. 

Mr. Nam awards Certificate of Merit of "Vietnam heroic mother" to three mothers Đặng Thị Xéo, Nguyễn Thị Bạn, Trịnh Thị Yên.

At the meeting, Nguyễn Văn Đông, Secretary of Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee, reviewed the Party's glorious revolutionary tradition over the past 90 years. Party Committee of Thu Dau Mot City united, strove to promote the synergy of the political system, enhance emulation movements, successfully implement Party Resolutions at all levels. Accordingly, the government apparatus was increasingly consolidated, the socio-economic situation continued to grow stably. Particularly in 2019, Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee focused on leading, implementing and organizing to achieve quite comprehensive results in building political system, socio-economic development and defense - security; exploiting the advantages of a center urban area, upholding dynamism, creativity, and effectively applying policies based on local practical conditions. 

On this occasion, Party Committee of Thu Dau Mot City awarded the title of "Vietnam heroic mother" to three cases in the city, awarded Party badges from 40 to 70 years of Party seniority to 20 party members and veterans. People and officials of Thu Dau Mot City were honored to receive the emulation flag awarded by the Government for successfully completing their tasks and leading emulation movements in the whole province in 2019.
