The project of Thu Dau Mot University student group won the first prize in the competition

The final round of IoT Startup 2019, organized by the High-Tech Business Incubator took place at Riverside Palace Center Ho Chi Minh City over the weekend. The competition aims to promote entrepreneurship, the passion for innovation in the field of IoT (internet connecting everything) of the startup community in Vietnam.

The competition has been launched since June and attracted more than 80 projects. There are 15 projects of Group A Startup (startup projects) and 8 projects of Group B for students to compete in the final round. In Table B, surpassing the major universities, the student group of Thu Dau Mot University excellently won the first prize with the project "TDMU - SUN: Application of Triac Farm - Monitoring, Control and Warning System. for backyard hydroponic vegetable garden using solar energy ”.

With this project, vegetable growers can control and monitor the operation status of the equipment, alert the faulty pumps and support system through the "Triac Farm" application. Application "Triac Farm" helps monitor sensor parameters and control devices in vegetable gardens. Users can count vegetable production and record previous season experiences so that the following season is more productive.
