Thuan An town’s total retail sales of goods and services increases 23.1%

In the first 9 months of 2017, total retail sales of goods and services of Thuan An town reached VND32,806 billion, reaching 75% of the town People's Council’s target, increasing 23.1% over the same period in 2016. Total local budget revenue was VND2,421 billion, reaching 70.31% of provincial People's Committee’s target. In addition, Thuan An town encouraged organizations and individuals to donate 26 “great unity” houses with total construction cost of VND1.2 billion; built 6 houses and repair 32 houses of gratitude for policy beneficiaries and people credited with revolutionary contributions with a total cost of VND1.3 billion.

According to leaders of Thuan An Town, one of solutions implemented from now until the end of the year is to reinforce surrounding banks and canals before the rainy season; strengthen the supervision to construction units, accelerate the progress of projects, especially medical and educational projects. At the same time, the town shall strictly handle violation cases of environmental pollution; direct specialized branches to cooperate with localities to correctly make budget revenues and expenditures according to the set plan.
