To approve the Binh Duong province's planning for 2021-2030 period, with a vision towards 2050

On 29 Nov, Trần Thanh Liêm, Chairman of PPC, chaired a meeting to approve the Binh Duong province's planning period 2021-2030, vision towards 2050. Attending the meeting were leaders of departments, agencies, People's Committees of districts, towns and city.

At the meeting

Provincial planning in the period of 2021-2031, vision towards 2050 issued by PPC will implement the following major steps: Establish steering committee and assign planning agency; building planning tasks; planning construction; strategic environmental assessment report; get comments on planning; planning evaluation process; planning approval process. According to proposal of the consulting unit, the province will approve 17 tasks of provincial planning, added 2 new tasks compared to regulations of the Planning Law to ensure integration.... At the same time, specific tasks of each department, agency, district, town or city must be implemented.

Mr. Liêm emphasized that the Binh Duong Province Planning for the period of 2021-2030, vision towards 2050 was very important, in order to orient the allocation of resources for socio-economic, defense, security and environmental protection activities at provincial and inter-district levels, and orientations for district-level allocations. The implementation must ensure the consistency and good quality, meet regulations on time, order and procedures for setting, evaluation and submission for approval according to regulations. Agencies, units and localities define the provincial planning task as a key task that needs to focus on and arrange people to actively participate, take initiative in this provincial planning.
