To strive for under 1% of provincial poverty rate at the end 2020

 Due to the good implementation of national target program for sustainable poverty reduction period 2016-2020, provincial departments and levels endeavored to communicate and mobilize resources for supporting the poverty reduction in the province.

During the implementation, the province actively amended and issued the new multi-dimensional poverty standards, in combination with the local status, gaining high consensus among government, unions, people; focused on expanding the pilot "a community-based vocational training combined with employment creation for poor people", and gained good results. Effective subsistence means were introduced and expanded in many forms; resources were concentrated to allocated efficiently. Thanks to innovation in methods and solutions, poverty standards of the province have been improved and there is no households being pushed back into poverty.

By the end of 2019, the province had 3,806 poor households, accounting for 1.31%. The province is striving for under 1% of provincial poverty rate at the end 2020.
