Two hospitals established for foreigner Covid-19 patients

On the basis of the request of Department of Health, Binh Duong provincial People's Committee has just decided to establish hospitals to treat Covid-19 patients who are foreigners in Binh Duong province. Accordingly, the province will establish two hospitals to treat Covid-19 patients who are foreigners in Binh Duong including Phuong Chi General Hospital on DX76 street of Hoa Phu ward in Thu Dau Mot city of 50 beds, of which, 40 beds are for treatment of F0 on the 1st floor, 2nd floor and 10 ICU beds and  Van Phuc General Hospital 1 at No. 45 Ho Van Cong Street, Quarter 4, Tuong Binh Hiep Ward, Thu Dau Mot City of 100 beds, of which, 80 treatment beds are for F0 on the first and second floors  and 20 ICU beds.

The scope of professional activities of the two hospitals is to quarantine, care for, treat and provide emergency treatments for Covid-19 patients who are foreigners in the province. The two hospitals  must ensure human resources, facilities, equipment, professional processes, and regulations on prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic to conduct medical examination, emergency, treatment and quarantine of patients in accordance with regulations; and, hospital fees is collected according to current regulations.  The provincial People's Committee assigns the the Director of Department of Health to assume the prime responsibility for and coordinate with relevant agencies and units, based on the regulations on organization and operation of the hospitals treating Covid-19 patients who are foreigners; to organize the implementation of full legal assurance as prescribed in operations;  and at the same time, to guide the organization and operation of the two hospitals in accordance with the law.
